The Flood

Our town experienced a deluge of rain like everyone else. This section by Fischer Meadow was flooded for days. For the first time in our 14 years here, our basement got water - lots of water!

Loop Beach, Cape Cod

Walked the beach with my friends on a cold winter's day. The sun, salt air and sand felt good after being cooped up these past months.

St. Patrick/St. Anthony Parish

Since it is the 1st Sunday of Lent, it seemed appropriate to start off my new 365 Blog with a photo of the church I attended today. I enjoy visiting other churches, and particularly like that this church welcomes everyone... Amen to that!

2011 New Year, New Blog

After taking a break from the 365 Blog, I am getting itchy to get back to my photography. Thanks to my family and friends who've encouraged me to continue with this endeavor.

Happy New Year everyone!

Bud and I celebrated by going to the UCONN huskies game. They won in overtime!

Walked over to Bushnell Park for First Night, but ended up going into Vito's by the Park and stayed there all night - including dinner and dancing in the restaurant to a great jazz band. At midnight the restaurant all went out onto the sidewalk to watch the fireworks show over the Park - best New Year's Eve in years!!

Well, that concludes my 365 Blog - it's been a fun, challenging experience. Some have encouraged me to continue and I just might - stay tuned.........
