365 project day 5/31

Waiting for my clematis to bloom. But in the meantime, it makes for a good visual for me to fool around with my camera settings, in this case 1/125, f/4, ISO 400.

365 project day 5/30

My assignment for my class this week is to practice aperture in manual mode. I was not really into it as I am so sick of shooting stuff in my backyard. I would not have even noticed this spider spinning its web if it weren't for my assignment. Lesson learned - open your eyes people, there's a whole bunch of cool stuff going on right outside your back door!

365 project day 5/11

I don't know what I'm going to do if Book Stores like Borders go out of business. I love going to my local book store to browse the art and photography books if I ever get an hour or so with nothing to do. I guess I'm a dying breed, since these wonderful stores are slowly closing one by one....
