Mist, fog, & humidity are some of the weather conditions that help create some of the best shots. Today will be a scorcher in Connecticut, but getting up early to take pictures was actually very enjoyable!

Last day of school. Daughter was so excited she would be a senior in HS now! She drove to her friend's house and on the way over got rear-ended by an elderly driver. Thank God no one was hurt. I'm not sure this driver should be on the road anymore.

June 16th is always a very important day for Bud and me. I'm a big believer in destiny and this photo of a walking path in Florida, near Anthony and Tom's house depicts my philosophy of life. Red Box is the new Blockbuster Video. $1.00 gets you a fairly new release for 24 hours. All at the grocery store. Sure with I thought of that idea - I'd be a wealthy woman!!

I swear I should have been a Travel Agent. Nothing gets me more jazzed than planning trips. Our next adventure is to Vienna, Austria, and Prague, Czech Republic - where we will celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary.

It's hard to believe we are drinking hot chocolate on June 12th, but it's a cold, rainy June Saturday here in Connecticut. Going to watch "Sweet Home Alabama" a DVD I bought from my friend Mary Lou at her tag sale today. Thanks ML!

We hit San Diego during "June Gloom" which means 1 - 2 hours of sun a day and temps in the low 70's. The water temp is about 65 degrees, which is pretty much what Cape Cod water is like at this time of year. The overcast day makes for great opportunities for a photographer. The ocean towns have boardwalks up and down the beach where you can enjoy the views.

After flying into LAX, we drove to Hollywood and saw some of the sights such the walk of the stars, Rodeo Drive, and the funky West Hollywood section. No celebrity sightings there, however, we did have one of the "Housewives of Orange County" at our hotel. Meg and Jill noticed her sitting with a guy. We googled her and sure enough it was her. We found out later she ran in the Rock and Roll Marathon like Bud.

Meg's dream to try surfing came to pass. Jill was game too! The wet suits kept them warm and they really got the hang of it! It was a blast to watch them surfing in southern CA.

We always try to stop in all the Hard Rock Cafe's we come across - this one was in the Gaslamp District of downtown San Diego. Mick Jagger takes center stage in one of the restaurants.

Here is Bud after completing the Rock N' Roll Marathon, San Diego, CA! It was his goal when he turned 50 to run a marathon and we are so proud of him!!

My new favorite breakfast place called Cafe 222, San Diego, serves a mouth watering peanut butter & banana french toast. This dish was served to Food Network Star, Bobby Flay and was featured on the TV show "The Best Thing I Ever Ate" I ate there 3 out of 4 mornings!!

I've had this Pumpkin Pancake mix from Trader Joe's for a while. We all agreed they are either going to be really good or just plain bad. 3 out of 4 gave a thumbs up!
