365 project - Day 2

This is my favorite Christmas present. My sister-in-law surprised me with this italian pottery, which is the same one I bought for another relative this summer, and had admired so much.

365 Project - Day 1

Having just come back from our nation's capital, I am still feeling very patriotic. Therefore, my first photo for 2010 will be a "star" to remind me of all the sacrifices made before me, and that the future will be bright in the coming year.

Our Trip to visit Mike's New Apartment in Wash., DC

We drove down to Washington, DC to help Mike Move in to his new apartment. Got a good mix of sightseeing and assisting him in setting up his place.

Some of the highlights included:

• Seeing the Washington Memorial and The White House from our hotel room
• Viewing the American Flag at The Museum of American History
• Seeing one of the few Leonardo DaVinci's in the world (Genevra)
• Watching the Changing of the Guard at Arlington National Cemetary

What will you be doing in FIVE years?

I am fast approaching the "Big 50". My husband has just hit this milestone. Our lives are always just a little chaotic.

I've found that having a handle on my short and long term goals helps me feel more in control of the "bigger Picture" of my life.
