I just joined a new online art community called Art Quilts Around The World and this month's challenge is to create a self portrait art quilt.  I wish my good sewing machine was not still in storage!!

Southwick Zoo

Providence Waterfire

Providence's sister city is Venice, Italy. If you've never been to a Waterfire, I would highly recommend it. Rainbow over the Lake

The guys got caught in a torrential downpour while kayaking back from lunch. After we helped them secure the kayaks and get dried off, we were all rewarded with this breathtaking rainbow appearing over the Lake.
