Sunset at Beavertail State Park, Jamestown, RI

Sunday is our explore day and we threw the chairs and a cooler in the car and drove out to wonderful (free) Beavertail State Park. The waves were crashing and it's fun to walk along the jagged rocks. The grassy area is perfect for reading the Sunday paper or playing catch. Here is Mike showing off his balancing skills on the fence near the lighthouse.

Rock Cowboy

He's back......... The infamous "Rock Cowboy" of Narragansett was entertaining everyone on Saturday night. He uses the energy from the rocks to find the balancing point and amazingly these stay standing until the waves crash them down and he starts all over again.

Poor, Poor Gracie

Now, tell me that is not one sad little face. Gracie is laying low after her trick knee dislocated. She's on anti-inflammatory and glucosamine for her discomfort. No stairs or couch jumping for this pup for a while.

Swan Point Cemetary, Providence, RI

While my daughter was at Physical Therapy, I drove around this very large and historic Cemetary, admiring the grounds and in awe of some of the headstones I read. This pair is a mother and father Weaver from the mid 1870's. I wonder what their lives were like?
