Barriers

Some days you just feel like a big door
was shut right in your face.

Zippity Doo Da.....

OK, I did not take this photo, but it was taken with "my" camera,
so by proxy I am claiming some rights to post on my blog.

What a thrill for Meg, Anthony, and Tom

Much More Than a Hobby

My trusty NIKON is never far from me.
I simply cannot imagine my life without a camera.
My scrapbooks, digital books and heritage photos are
my most important possessions.

Club Stonehill

We had a great time after the
1/2 Marathon hanging out in downtown
Sleepy Hollow and catching up with old friends
Ellen, Terry, Joanne and her husband Ed.

Oh, What a Feeling!!

Bud and Matt (and Andy) finish the

'Careful what you ask for...

My husband's dog-eared copy of Ultimate Italian
is his new constant companion from 7pm - 9pm

That's what I get for pushing him to get a new hobby!!

Time to lose the winter gain...

I love eggs, I love eggs!
but, I love to lose 5 pounds even more!

Good way to spend tax dollars?

Our town is in the middle of a Library expansion.
I thought it was lovely the way it was. Supposedly, surrounding
towns have much larger, nicer library's than ours and
this may hurt property values??!!

Super Moon

This "SuperMoon" is only seen once every 18 years.
I don't have the right equipment for nighttime
photography, but it really was amazing.
This was taken 3/19 at 7:45 pm

Textures and values of an old building

Rundown, old dilapidated buildings can be as interesting
to photograph as anything new and shiny. This building
happens to be in Collinsville, CT

We've got the "Luck of the Irish!"

Meggie got back from her trip to Costa Rica with her Uncles just in time to celebrate the end of St. Patty's Day!  Meg's long red hair was a hit with all those C.R. boys!!

The Flood

Our town experienced a deluge of rain like everyone else. This section by Fischer Meadow was flooded for days. For the first time in our 14 years here, our basement got water - lots of water!

Loop Beach, Cape Cod

Walked the beach with my friends on a cold winter's day. The sun, salt air and sand felt good after being cooped up these past months.

St. Patrick/St. Anthony Parish

Since it is the 1st Sunday of Lent, it seemed appropriate to start off my new 365 Blog with a photo of the church I attended today. I enjoy visiting other churches, and particularly like that this church welcomes everyone... Amen to that!

2011 New Year, New Blog

After taking a break from the 365 Blog, I am getting itchy to get back to my photography. Thanks to my family and friends who've encouraged me to continue with this endeavor.
